I had a load of berries and didn’t want them to go off and to waste so I decided to turn them into a fresh, homemade jam. You can use any berries or fruits, I chose strawberry and raspberry. This is a super easy recipe to do and has far less sugar than any of the shop bought equivalents.
- 350g strawberries
- 150g raspberries
- 2 tsps coconut sugar
- 1 cup water
WHAT TO DO:
1. Chop all the green bits off the strawberries.
2. Put all the ingredients into a non-stick pan and bring to the boil, once boiling reduce to a simmer.
3. Simmer away until all the liquid has evaporated and you’re left with jam like consistency.
4. Enjoy on a piece of sourdough toast with peanut or almond butter!
